About Us

This & That with Cats is designed to be a sanctuary, both for our furry friends, and for the humans.

In our facility we will house 100% adoptable kitties. These cats are from foster homes, where they wait until they find their furrrever home. We want these animals to live as comfortably as they can while waiting for someone to adopt them. Way better than living in a cage in a shelter, no doubt!

We will invite local artists to teach creative classes throughout the week: live painting, live jewelry making, yoga (just to name a few, we don’t want to TOTALLY ruin the surprise). With this being said, if you are a local artist and would like to utilize our space to hold a class to teach others your talent, contact us! Don’t be afraid, we don’t bite. We want to help your dream grow while at the same time giving exposure to these beautiful creatures who need to go to a loving home. But if you’re not interested in participating in a class, don’t worry. We will have plenty of relaxing time where you can come just to chill, study, or play with some cool cats!

We will also offer delicious treats (produced and sealed in a kitchen separate from our facility) as well as (sealed) beverages. Don’t worry you won’t find a kitty hair in your cookie or water.

We have two missions at This & That with Cats. First, we want to provide homeless cats with a comfortable environment while waiting to be adopted (which is the ultimate goal). Second, we want to help local artists gain exposure for their talents and help their passions for art thrive.

Arts & cats, it doesn’t get much better than that!

Our Team

Meet the creative force behind the Cat Cafe that's coming to Miami

Savanna Pena

For all of her life, Savanna has lived with (and loved) multiple cats at a time. She has a passion for animals (cats specifically) and for helping others. She wanted to combine these two passions, and in doing so created This & That with Cats.

Marlene Prada

Marlene has been a lifelong animal lover, but it wasn’t until recently that she was able to have a cat of her own and fell in love. After visiting a cat café in Tokyo, she instantly felt the relaxed atmosphere and environment she hopes to help bring one to Miami.

Ellie Daigle

Ellie has love cats her whole life. She is a photographer and went to school for marketing. Being able to bring her two passions together, cameras and cats is an ultimate dream come true. She can't wait to see what great things the Cat Cafe can do for Miami.
